Activities
We have three types of activities:
+ raising money to support charities
+ discussion group
+ social events
From October to March we hold a regular discussion group with stimulating dialogue between open-minded people. Recent discussion groups have been based on two Unitarian publications: 'With Heart and Mind' and 'The Unitarian Life'. The first of these books has short essays on a wide range of topics; the second book is more closely focused on what it is to be Unitarian.
The social events often have a seasonal flavour with walks and barbecues in the summer and social evenings in the winter. Meals out together are popular all the year round.
From time to time we play a set of handbells and there is an occasional keep fit group.
There are also many activities with the Yorkshire Unitarian Union - our local district, and nationally. Please look at our Unitarian Links for further details.
