Discussion and music play important parts in the life of Glasgow Unitarians.
Saturday Sessions
![]()
Over four monthly Saturday afternoon sessions we will be exploring
our Unitarian attitudes towards Jesus, through dialogue and discussion.
Two speakers will address the topic from different perspectives.
There will be a coffee break in the middle followed by discussion.
We hope to invite friends and interested parties to join in these
sessions. This is the first of a variety of themes we plan to explore
within a Unitarian ethos. Click here to see detailed information.
GUC Singers
![]()
On the second Sunday of every month, some of us meet an hour before the service at 10am. We enjoy learning new songs and harmonies, which we can share at selected services. We have good fun and there is no need to audition or to be able to read music.
Social Responsibility
![]()
We have links with the Unitarian Church in Chennai, India, and support their educational work with the Dalit (formerly 'untouchable') community.
Collections at our social time following services are donated to a variety of charities such as emergency aid appeals, human rights, medical work etc.
200th Anniversary Celebrations
![]()
We will be celebrating 200 years of Unitarianism in Glasgow with
a special service and Civic reception in the City chambers.
Sunday 3rd October will be a very special day for us and we hope
to welcome Unitarians and friends from far and wide.
