The children's illustrations
of what The Daffodils by
William Wordsworth, meant
for them. We hold a Children's Chapel on the first Sunday of every month. After sharing the first ten minutes or so of worship with the congregation, usually with a story to which they can relate, the children are led through to the adjoining hall for their own special programme of activities. This can include reading, drawing, craftwork and discussion. The Children's Chapel is led by a dedicated team. The children develop confidence and social skills through their contact with each other and the other adult members, and the time is used constructively to encourage spiritual development, exploration and questioning of the world around us. |
