Services
Services take place each Sunday at 11.00am at our chapel
in Branthwaite Brow, Market Place, Kendal.
All our services are followed by refreshments served in the schoolroom
and are a great opportunity for everyone to get together for a chat.
Our Worship Service
At the beginning of our service our minister invites a member of the congregation to light our chalice candle. This is followed by words of welcome. Generally there are hymns, readings, prayers and a short piece of music to accompany a time of private meditation, prayer or reflection. Readings may be taken from a variety of different religious scriptures or from secular sources. As Unitarians we draw from the wisdom of all faiths and branches of human knowledge.
Special Services
Throughout the year we have a variety of special services in addition to Easter, Harvest Festival and Christmas. For example, we have had a Flower Communion Service, Summer Service, Inter-faith Service and many others.
