EC Chief Exec steps down

The Reverend Steve Dick will leave his official role with the General Assembly at the end of March 2009. To enable him to use up remaining annual leave, he will step down as Chief Executive on 2 March. Interim arrangements for leadership are being made by the General Assembly Executive Committee (EC) and will be announced soon.

New EC Elected

The membership of the Unitarian movement in the UK has recently elected the members of the Executive Committee of the General Assembly, and this new "EC" will take over at the Annual Meetings in April 2009.

Derek McAuley has been co-opted unto the Executive Committee for a one year period to fill the vacancy created by the appointment of Rev. Robert Wightman as GA Vice President.
