With just one exception, the Sundays in June have two services at the usual time of 11.00am and 6.30pm. The exception is on the second Sunday when it is the Annual Women's Service led by members of Upper Chapel's Women's League. This special service will be at 11.00am and will be on the subject 'Peace'; explored through readings, prayers and hymns.

Services in the month of June start at the beginning of the month with the title 'To Be a Pilgrim'. The word 'pilgrim' often has an archaic feel about it and yet the service will reflect on how much we are all pilgrims venturing our way through life.

On the third Sunday the title 'Flying the Flag' will remind us of the importance of symbolism in supporting and upholding the beliefs and faiths that are dear to each one of us and the importance of respecting the powerfully important symbols of others.

Upper Chapel is affiliated to 'The General Assembly of Unitarian and Free Christian Churches' and the service on 23rd June will be special in that it will be an opportunity for the congregation to hear about the Annual Meetings of 'The General Assembly...' that were held in Nottingham in April.

At the close of the month, our Minister will be taking services at Hale and Dean Row Chapels in Cheshire and the services will be conducted by one of our members, Judy Hague. it is a lovely opportunity to welcome Judy, once again, to lead worship and on this Sunday her chosen title is 'The Divine Spark'.
