Activities
As well as our Sunday Services, every week at 11am, there are other groups which meet regularly:
Midweek services
A lunchtime monthly midweek service will be held on the second Wednesday of each month at 12 noon, the next midweek service will be on Wednesday, 8th February. This will be an informal service of reflection and music in the round, and will be followed by refreshments.
A monthly "Sparklers Children's Programme will commence on 12th February and will continue on the 2nd Sunday of each month. Children will be in the service until their story, and will then go into the Vestry with leaders for their own activities.
Bright Lights is an intergenerational worship session meeting monthly on the fourth Sunday of the month.
It is family friendly, and all ages are welcome. Come with your family or come by yourself.
Sessions involve stories, nature, craft, spirituality, music, humanity, fun, community, creativity and food.
Bright Lights will next meet on Sunday 26th February 2012 at 2 p.m.
The chalice candle was made at a worship session.
Can you spot who is hiding here?
"Alice and Tamaris helped to create our hibernation den in the chapel garden at Bright Lights on November 27th. We weaved an autumn blanket with twigs, leaves, berries and stars to light the winter dark. We decided we didn't fancy hibernating ourselves though, thinking we'd miss too many things like frosty mornings, Christmas, our family and friends and teddies."
