The Late Music 2021-22 series of concerts has now finished.

Late Music 2022-23 season will follow the new pattern of concerts, from October to June, still on the first Saturday of the month.

There are two birthday celebrations: Nicola LeFanu, who will be 75, and David Power, 60. The Bingham String Quartet (1st October) and Gemini (3rd December) will programme a celebration of music by Nicola, whilst pianist Duncan Honeybourne (5th November) and an oboe and piano recital featuring James Turnbull and Libby Burgess (5th November) will be presenting music by David Power as well as programmes curated by him. The Fitzwilliam String Quartet, Elysian Singers and the wonderful pianist Ian Pace will be welcomed back. Guitarist Frederico Pendenza will pay homage to the neglected British composer Reginald Smith-Brindle. There will also be a tribute concert to Sir Harrison Birtwistle, who died in April, featuring music for clarinets, piano, marimba and voice, including new pieces written in tribute to him.
